Australian Data Sources

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) is the national agency which provides official statistics on a wide range of economic, social, population and environmental topics, as well as Australian Census data.

The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) develops, collects, analyses and reports information on a broad range of health and welfare issues in Australia. They release more than 180 print, web and data products every year that draw on national major health and welfare data collections, including their own.

International Data Sources

The World Health Organization (WHO) is the leading authority on health information/matters and health research within the United Nations system. The WHO website provides access to information, research and statistics on global health issues and topics.
