Although Google Scholar is not a Library search, you can search Google Scholar and link through to articles and papers available in our Library databases. This is because the Library lets Google know what we have access to!
Why should I use Google Scholar?
It is very easy to search and results are usually very relevant.
Great for finding journal articles, especially from open access resources.
You can link through to fulltext of article and documents available at QUT Library. You just need to set up Google Scholar first.
Will show you how many times an article has been cited by others.
What you need to remember: Not all of the resources available from QUT Library can be found in Google Scholar. We don't know exactly what is included in Google Scholar so you still need to think about quality of the results you find.
