Online versions of legislation are freely accessible via the official Government websites. These are where you will find the authorised and most up-to-date versions of the legislation

The following databases are recommended when searching for legislation on a topic or when tracking the history of a piece of legislation:

• LawOne (via TimeBase) 
  Comprehensive national coverage of Australian legislation including the LawOne and LawTracker services that provide complete and current national legislation daily updates for Federal, State and Territory jurisdiction plus related case law and parliamentary materials.

• LawNow Legislation (via Lexis Advance Research) 
  Australian legislation including all Commonwealth, State and Territory legislation.

• Queensland Legislation (Office of the Qld Parliamentary Counsel) 
  Freely available Queensland Government website for finding Queensland legislation including Queensland Acts and Subordinate legislation as in force plus superseded reprints, Queensland Acts as passed, Subordinate legislation as made, Queensland Bills as well as Repealed legislation.
