Peer-reviewed literature has been reviewed by experts in the field for accuracy and authority, and this process is overseen by the editors of a journal or conference proceeding. There are several ways to find peer-reviewed literature.

Use the Library's specialist databases to find relevant journal articles, conference papers, technical reports and experts in your field. Below are databases recommended for UXH300 students.

Information contained in databases is selected or reviewed by subject matter experts according to set criteria and is likely to be more authoritative than information found through general search tools such as Google Scholar.
Each database has a different search interface. While search features are quite similar, it is always useful to check the "Help" page of the database you are using for tips on how to effectively search the collection. Many databases allow you to limit results to peer-reviewed literature only.
