From Ascot / Hawthorne / Woolloongabba / Greenslopes in the east to Milton and Toowong in the west. Map shows tramways and railways; parks and reserves. The only bridge in existence at this time was the Victoria Bridge that spanned the river between the top of Queen Street to Melbourne Street, South Brisbane. Ferry routes shown from east to west were: Hamilton; Bulimba (steam); Hawthorne; New Farm; Merthyr; Kangaroo Point; City vehicular steam ferry to Bright St; City (steam) to Thornton St; Gardens Point; North Quay to Grey St; Milton; Toowong and Saint Lucia.
