Finding book metrics and other evidence of impact

Book evidence

Depending on the discipline, coverage of books and book chapters in databases such as Scopus or Web of Science may not be comprehensive.  It is still worth checking these databases to see if your books or book chapters have been included in them, as you will then be able to access traditional metrics such as citations etc.  Google Scholar is also an option for finding citations to your books or book chapters.

Library holdings may provide an indication of the impact of your books.

Book Reviews (click on the link to find instructions) may also be provide an indicator of the quality of your books.
