The PEACHâ„¢ program is a parent-led healthy lifestyle program that supports parents and carers who are struggling to maintain a healthy weight for their children. It offers families practical advice and information about healthy eating options and ways to increase levels of physical activity. The program is available free for families with a child aged 5-11 years whose weight is above what is recommended for their age. It has been developed by dietitians and is being delivered to communities across Queensland making it the largest childhood obesity early intervention program ever undertaken in the state.
The Butterfly Foundation represents all people affected by eating disorders and negative body image – a person with the illness, their family and their friends.
The National Eating Disorders Collaboration is an initiative of the Australian Government Department of Health. It is a collaboration of people and organisations with an expertise and/or interest in eating disorders.
