Workarounds for moving your saved data to the new interface

Please note

Please note these need to be completed prior to 11 February 2025. 

Below are some workarounds you can use to move data that is not going to be automatically migrated to the new interface.

Search and Journal Alerts

Option 1: Change your Search Alerts to a Saved Search in your My Folder - the Saved Search will then migrate to the new interface in early January 2025. You will then be able to re-create a Search Alert in the new interface.

Option 2: Recreate the search alert in the new interface (and then deleted from classic interface to avoid duplicate email alerts).

My Custom folder data

Articles and eBooks

Option 1: Move saved items from your custom folders to My Folder - these will then automatically sync with the new user interface now:

  1. Go to the custom folder you want to move
  2. Select all the articles (or ebooks), and
  3. Move to the My Folder option

Option 2: Save, email or export the saved items for future reference (e.g. download as RIS/EndNote file or CSV)

 

Saved searches

Move saved searches from your custom folder to My Folder - these will automatically move to the new interface in early January 2025. It is recommended you include the name of the custom folder in your saved search so you can identify it in the new platform.
