Note-taking

When taking notes, consider using a method such as the Cornell method. While this video refers to exam prep, the Cornell method can be useful for research as well. Pay attention to:

  • Methodology
  • Results
  • Summary of key points
  • Context
  • Significance
  • Important figures and tables
  • Cited references for follow up
  • Your comments
