The Vacation Research Experience Scheme (VRES) allows students the opportunity to participate in a research project for approximately 6-10 weeks.
This opportunity is particularly valuable if you're interested in pursuing a research degree.

The VRES information session is scheduled as follows:
- Date: Monday 28 July 2025
- Time: 10:00am to 11:00am

VRES 2025-2026
If you are considering applying for the next program, you must:
- be currently enrolled in either:
- an undergraduate degree and have completed at least 96 credit points of study (students graduating in December 2025/January 2026 are still eligible)
- one of the following postgraduate coursework degrees: PY09, OP85, HL53, DE80 or DE83 (other postgraduate coursework students are ineligible)
- meet your faculty's GPA requirements:
- Faculty of Business and Law: 5.5 or above
If you've participated in a previous VRES project, your host faculty will decide if you can be considered again. You must declare any previous involvement in a VRES project as part of your application, or you will be deemed ineligible.
