Evaluating the quality of your sources

You must critically evaluate the quality of resources you rely upon in your assessment.  Always consider:

  • author/s (expert in the field?)
  • citations (by other papers)
  • quality of publisher
  • date of publication (recent is better)
  • originality (adding to the body of knowledge)
  • accuracy (are there mistakes in the content?)
