Brisbane Community Profiles

Brisbane Community Profiles are an easy way to find out about the areas you are scoping.


To get started click on the image below or go to https://www.brisbane.qld.gov.au/business-in-brisbane/data-and-economic-insights/brisbane-community-profiles 

 



Scroll down the page until you get to:   

Choose the suburbs you are interested in and then the information you need. Then click on Create Report

Your report will include maps, graphs and data about your suburb (and you can generate it as an .xls if you want to play with the data. 

 

 

  Census Community Profiles

Census Community Profiles give you more information about the place.

Click on the image below or https://www.abs.gov.au/census/find-census-data/search-by-area

Choose your suburb (make sure you select Suburbs and Localities)

Then choose Quickstats if you only need the basics or Community Profiles.
Then choose the profile you want.

Use the List of Tables and List of Topics tabs to navigate to the information you want.  
G35-37 are about housing, G62 is about Travel to work

 

ABS Tablebuilder

Or you can use Tablebuilder to create and download your own tables from the Australian Bureau of Statistics
