You can use the Library's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander resources search to find books and other material related to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. For a curated list of titles featuring the work of many Indigenous authors browse newly added titles. For a broader search use the Library search and relevant databases.

Scopus and Web of Science are important databases for first-year science students to be familiar with.
1. There are other specialist databases relevant for Science.
2. Consult the help screens of each database as search techniques will differ.
Google is good for routine searches but Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature.
