You can also access Copilot via:

- Microsoft Edge app on mobile
Note: more features are available when accessing Copilot through Microsoft Edge, including built-in compose templates, webpage or PDF summarisation and automatic tab grouping.
What can I use it for?
Copilot can help you with various tasks, such as:
- quickly make sense of long webpages, PDFs and other documents
- craft and polish written content
- create images for learning materials.
- Custom answers
- Copilot generates personalised and up-to-date answers using current web data.
- Ask follow-up questions to get the answers you need.
- Every answer comes with sources for transparency.
- Data security and confidentiality
- Copilot prevents leaks of confidential information (other generative AI tools may expose private data to the public).
You're responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to enter any content produced by others into Copilot and that you comply with our IT policies and protocols, and any applicable laws and regulations regarding intellectual property and data protection.

Some Library databases and search tools may have licensing terms that do not permit sharing their content with GenAI tools. If unsure, refer to the conditions of use for the database.
