Australian Bureau Statistics - QuickStats
QuickStats is a summary of key Census data relating to persons, families and dwellings. QuickStats is not inclusive of all Census topics, instead provides a range of social, economic and demographic statistics.
When retrieving demographic data for a particular region it is important to understand the way statistics are apportioned according to specific zones or boundaries devised by the ABS.
Start your search by consulting the available information on ABS census geography or reviewing the visual guide; as administrative and geographic boundaries are provided as shaded map overlays when using advanced search in either QuickStats or ABS Community Profiles.
