Web of Science, a Clarivate product, is an abstract and citation database. Researchers can use Web of Science to perform a basic analysis of their research outputs and to find metrics such as their h-index, overall citations and publications. Authors can also export lists of their publications and citations.
This video provides guidance on how to find an author's publications in Web of Science.
Create a 'Citation Report' to find an author's h-index, publishing and citation trends . To ensure the accuracy of the metrics, it is important to check the list of publications to make sure it is accurate, and doesn't include works belonging to other researchers or omit publications.
Use the 'Analyse Results' feature to find further information about a set of publications, such as the journals where they are being published, subject areas and countries.
