Scopus, an Elsevier product, is an abstract and citation database. Researchers can use Scopus to perform basic analysis of their research outputs and to find metrics such as their h-index, overall citations and publications, via their automatically generated Author details page. Researchers can also export a list of their publications and see the citations for individual publications.
The below video demonstrates how to find an author in Scopus.
Scopus has two tools to analyse researcher output, 'Analyse author output' and 'View citation overview', both of which can be accessed from a reseearcher's author page. Before using either of these tools, ensure that the publications on the author profile are correct. The below video demonstrates how to use this functionality.
